Cancellation Policy

The reservation includes the private rental of the boat managed by Mallorca Boat Rentals, located in Puerto Portals, Palma de Mallorca. The rental price includes the captain, fuel, post-rental cleaning, and paddle surf, canoe, and dinghy equipment. VAT (Value Added Tax in Spain) is also included in this amount.

It does not include food or beverages, which the client can bring on board or arrange with the company based on availability and pay separately. The reservation can be made directly on our website, where the rental service, food, beverages, and towels requested by the client will be charged. On the day of the charter, the corresponding fee must be paid in cash to the captain, including any possible tips.

If you would like an invoice for your reservation or have questions about food options, please contact us at booking@mallorcaboatrentals.com. Once the payment is made, your reservation for the requested date will be fully confirmed. If you have made an inquiry via email for your date but have not yet made the payment, we cannot guarantee the continuous availability of the requested date and time.

The client agrees to follow the health and safety guidelines described by the captain during the charter and to complete a signed passenger form for the day of the charter along with a charter contract as required by Spanish maritime law. The captain reserves the right to cut off alcohol consumption if he believes there is a real danger to the safety of anyone on board the boat. In case of dangerous conditions due to unforeseen weather, the captain reserves the right to return to the marina for the safety of the guests.

The boat reserves the right to cancel the charter if there are dangerous weather conditions on the day of the charter or for another reasonable cause. In this case, the boat will attempt to reschedule the charter for a date that suits the client. If this is not possible, the client will receive a refund for the reservation.

If you, as the boat renter, wish to cancel your charter, you must notify us immediately in writing by email. The cancellation will be effective on the date Mallorca Boat Rentals receives the cancellation. If you have notified us by email, please follow up to verify that we have received it.

Cancellation/modification fees: In case of cancellation from the date of booking, we reserve the right to retain 30% of the charter cost as a fee to cover lost revenue. If you wish to reschedule the charter for a reasonable cause, we will transfer your payment to the new charter date. Please note that for reservations canceled within the 4 weeks prior to the charter date, we cannot guarantee a refund of the charter cost. However, we can attempt to rebook the charter for an alternative day if possible. If the reasons for your cancellation are covered by your insurance policy terms, you may be able to claim these charges from your insurer.

If you wish to make changes to the reservation after confirmation, we will do our best to make the necessary arrangements, but this is not guaranteed.
