2. Data Collection Channels, Purposes, and Legal Basis

We collect and process your personal data through the following channels:

  • Booking Form: We process your identification and payment details to manage your boat rental reservation, process transactions, and communicate with you to fulfill the service. Legal Basis: Execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Commercial Communications (Marketing): Only if you explicitly check the separate, optional box on the booking form, we will use your email to send you special offers and news. Legal Basis: Your explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Chatbot (“Marina” AI Assistant): Inquiries and interactions made through our chatbot are processed to resolve customer service queries. Legal Basis: Legitimate interest in responding to pre-contractual inquiries (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and/or your consent upon initiating the chat.
  • Meta Pixel & Google Analytics 4: We collect browsing data to analyze site traffic and display personalized ads. Legal Basis: Your explicit consent given via our Cookie Banner (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

3. Data Recipients and Processors

To provide our services, we share your data with third-party service providers acting as Data Processors:

  • LatePoint: Booking management platform.
  • Stripe: Secure payment processing gateway.
  • Answerly: AI-powered customer service chatbot platform.
  • Google (Analytics) & Meta (Facebook): Analytics and advertising service providers (only subject to prior cookie acceptance).

4. International Data Transfers

Using tools provided by Stripe, Google, Meta, and Answerly may involve transferring your personal data to servers located in the United States. These transfers are conducted under the protection of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or, where applicable, using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

5. Retention Periods

  • Booking and Invoicing Data: Retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and subsequently for the statutory limitation periods established by applicable tax and commercial legislation (generally 6 years under the Spanish Commercial Code).
  • Marketing Data: Retained until you withdraw your consent or request to unsubscribe.
  • Chatbot Conversations: Retained for a maximum period of [X months] for quality control and customer service optimization.

6. Your Rights
